Today was a busy day! We spent our morning taking our Unit 5 Math Test. This test covered measurement and converting customary and metric units of length, mass, and volume. It took us awhile to complete but I think you all did a great job.
In the afternoon we had three switches of social studies where students conferred with me about their Southeast tests. Students who did not receive a passing grade the first time around were able to get a second try on the questions they missed. I'm happy to report that very few students needed to go back and try again. As I wrote before, scores for the Southeast unit were fantastic! Other students spent time previewing our upcoming unit on the Southwest by researching their vocabulary words.
I cannot wait to see your science fair projects tomorrow! We will spend a lot of time this week giving our presentations and finishing up our mystery book report presentations.
